A story about ants, sinks, glues and electricians
We know that women are capable of doing several things at the same time... Useful but sometimes catastrophic – okay you do several things at the same time but do you do any well? To cut it short, the other morning I was brushing my teeth when I saw an ant running on the wall. It had been several days that these bitches had been teasing me... And I could have considered a peaceful...

To avoid burning onself
I was recently asked if Indians still eat in banana leaves and with their hands. About banana leaves I am not sure, but I think they pretty much do in villages, at least in South India. As far as eating with their hands they certainly do and it won't change so soon. And I don't see why it should change anyway! It is super funny to toy with your food before gulping it, and it's a good way...

Ulce-RAT-ion
The other night I was deep into my new favourite activity – namely checking out rats from window – when we heard a wedding band playing from the slum. And here we were, at midnight, my friend and I, getting down to the slum to check out a wedding! I agreed to go on the one condition that if we saw a rat we would turn back. Just to make you dream...

Tell me how you drive I'll tell you who you are...
Being stuck in traffic in India leaves you a lot of time to think… So the other day I was wondering whether they could be a link with the way people drive and who they are. Of course it would involve a lot of clichés but the idea is not entirely stupid, in my opinion. Udaipur Nooo! I wouldn’t dare to say that just because Indians drive...

White versus Black
Beware: in India, to satisfy the taste buds deformed by spices, pepper and salt are reversed! I who hate pepper got f... so many times... And I still do given that sometimes there are pranksters who decide to play like the European and invert again!

Disembarking
The challenge when ypi live in India is to find a meaning to the multitude of inconsistencies you encounter every day. There are times when there is one (meaning) and there are times when there is none. At least it keeps your (Cartesian) mind busy. And to illustrate this powerful thought, one example: after landing at Jaipur the front passengers disembark with a...

THE Indian snap
India is not all about poor people smiling… … It is also about poor people who don't smile. Ah? Bad taste? Sorry!
