Il y a quelques temps, on m'a contacté pour effectuer un travail peu...

Il y a quelques temps, on m'a contacté pour effectuer un travail peu ordinaire :<br />Réaliser un <a href="http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chemin_de_croix" target="_blank">chemin de croix</a> pour une église.<br /><br />Ce thème classique de l'Histoire de l'Art occidental (la représentation de<a href="http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passion_du_Christ" target="_blank"> la Passion du Christ)</a> a été traité par un nombre considérable d'artistes peintres, sculpteurs, graveurs à travers les époques. <br />Dans sa représentation iconographique, le chemin de croix se compose traditionnellement de 14 tableaux (stations) dépeignant l’ensemble des souffrances et supplices qui ont précédé et accompagné la mort de Jésus, de sa condamnation par Ponce Pilate à la mise au tombeau de son corps.<br /><br />Aborder un tel travail m'a tout d'abord impressionné. <br />Et il m'aura fallu près de 10 mois pour réaliser ces 14 tableaux. <br />De longs mois pendant lesquels j'ai beaucoup douté et ai remis bien souvent en cause mon travail. <br /><br />Le format imposé de petites dimensions m'a d'abord réfréné tant les souffrances humaines à dépeindre étaient immenses. Puis, il m'a semblé qu'il se prêtait peut être à une vision plus introspective, plus intime. <br />Trouver le lien pour créer une narration graphique et laisser se décliner l'histoire a aussi été une difficulté.<br />Et il m'aura fallu beaucoup de "lâcher-prise" pour puiser en moi la matière nécessaire à l'expression de tant de souffrance. Et cela fut difficile et long.<br /><br />J'ai souhaité ne retranscrire que l'émotion de chaque scène en me focalisant sur les regards et les expressions, en oubliant le décor, en le traitant de façon abstraite. Hier, lancement de l'exposition à l'Espace Sylla d'Apt!<br /><br /><a href="http://www.sylla.fr/" target="_blank">La cave vinicole de Sylla</a>, en collaboration avec l'association <a href="http://www.cevenne.com/art-selection/index.html" target="_blank">Art Sélection</a>, organise depuis juin 2012 des expositions dans le très bel Espace Sylla dédié aux arts contemporains. <br /><br />Pendant 3 mois, mes toiles côtoieront les estampes numériques et peintures du compositeur et plasticien <a href="http://portfotolio.net/fulyllars/album/72157629393993414" target="_blank">Jérôme Vallet</a> et les sculptures symboliques de <a href="http://www.jeanpierrethein.fr/" target="_blank">Jean Pierre Thein</a>.<br /><br />Un immense merci à toute l'équipe d'Art Sélection pour l'organisation hors pair, leur disponibilité et leur gentillesse.<br />Merci à la cave de Sylla pour leur accueil et leur délicieux Jansiac!<br />Et un merci tout particulier à Jean Pierre Thein et Jérôme Vallet pour leurs conseils avisés. Une toile, il faut la voir en vrai.<br />Je suis assez d'accord. Cet été, deux belles manifestations jalonneront la route des vacances!Tout d'abord, je vous rappelle ma participation ce dimanche 1er juillet, à la <a href="http://www.saint-galmier.fr/29eme-Fete-des-Peintres.html" target="_blank">30ème Fête des Peintres</a> de Saint Galmier.<em>"Du centre ville au Manoir Philip en passant par les ruelles du vieux bourg, venez découvrir des artistes, professionnels ou amateurs, d’univers différents, mais partageant une passion commune : la Peinture."</em>J'exposerai une quinzaine de toiles Place de la Devise (en face de la mairie) de 10H à 19H.<a href="http://catherineharo.hautetfort.com/media/01/01/713892130.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://catherineharo.hautetfort.com/media/01/01/534933941.jpg" id="media-3647170" title="" alt="courrier_aux_peintres.jpg" style="float: left; margin: 0.2em 1.4em 0.7em 0;" /></a>Puis en août, direction la Drôme, pour une semaine de festivités à Châtillon-en-Diois.Du 5 au 12 août, je participe au Festival Arts et Vigne.Théâtre, musique, expositions...Tout Châtillon, l'un des plus beaux villages du Diois, s'embrase au rythme de l'art et du vin.Plus de 80 artistes investissent galeries, caves, étables et autres lieux insolites...
