En apparence du moins, c'est ce que croit Samson, un type un peu simplet qui aime passé son temps à observer ses voisins et plus particulièrement Gillian.</span><br /><span style="color: #800080; font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">En parallèle, deux vieilles dames âgées isolées sont retrouvées mortes l'une après l'autre, assassinées dans d'atroces conditions. Il semblerait que l'assassin les ait bien surveillé et joué à leurs faire peur avant de passer à l'acte. </span><br /><span style="color: #800080; font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">Gillian est-elle en danger ? Quels sont les points communs entre ces trois femmes ?</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #800080; font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">J'avais envie d'un policier et celui de Charlotte Link m'est tombé dans les mains. Littéralement tombé puisque c'est un sacré pavé ! D'ailleurs je n'en voyais pas le bout ! L'histoire se met doucement en place, le rythme m'a semblé assez lent, du coup j'ai eu du mal à avancer. </span><br /><br /><span style="color: #800080; font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">Il faut dire que les histoires sont nombreuses : nous avons tout d'abord celle des deux femmes assassinnées, puis celle de Samson (le voisin voyeur) et enfin celle de Gillian ... et encore d'autres dont je ne vous dirais rien pour garder un peu de suspense ! Du coup, les narrateurs sont nombreux : Samson, Gillian, la police, l'ancien flic, ... On ne s'y perd pas car l'auteure arrive à nous donner suffisament d'indice pour nous repérer dans qui est qui et qui parle ! Heureusement ! ;)</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #800080; font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">Au final dans ces affaires, tout revient à chercher le point qui relie tout le monde et c'est là que l'auteur veut nous emmener. Les hypothèses sont nombreuses et vu la quantité affolante de personnages, tous le monde parait suspects ! </span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #800080; font-family: tahoma,arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: small;">C'est au final un roman policier classique qui ne m'a pas fait vibrer autant que je ne l'espèrais ... dommage !</span></p>
