bien le bonjour à toi ami visiteur!!!

Aujourd'hui 1er mai, j'inaugure avec cette article une nouvelle catégorie, celle des cakes sculpter.

En effet depuis quelque temps la demande pour ce type de dessert ce fait plus régulière, et c'est surement grâce à l'article sur Flash McQueen, qui a fait son effet!!

Un défit m'a été lancer par ma coiffeuse préféré:

réaliser une DS vintage, la voiture présidentiel des années 50!!

Alors comme toujours pour démarer il y a un cake en bloc.

Après l'avoir façonner, je le recouvre d'une couche de ganache chocolat pour coller la pâte d'amande!

Et enfin la pose de la pâte d'amande!

C’est bien lui le boss !

« Sébastien Loeb, c’est quelqu'un de sain, d'équilibré, un exemple », déclarait Philippe Lucas dans sa chronique sur Orange l’été dernier.

Sébastien Loeb et son compère Daniel Elena viennent de remporter le Rallye de Monte-Carlo. Ils ont explosé tous les records. 68 victoires en mondial, 8 titres de champions du monde, ils ont placé la barre très haut et ce n’est pas fini. Un neuvième titre est envisageable. Et pourquoi pas un dixième ? Leurs supporters l’espèrent.

Pourquoi est-il si fort ?

Outre son palmarès auquel seules les carrières de Michael Schumacher et de Valentino Rossi sont comparables, Sébastien Loeb est un remarquable metteur au point.

Seb possède toute la gamme d’arguments d’un immense champion. « Il lit la route mieux que les autres », explique son navigateur Daniel Elena. Ajoutons qu’il est vite sur tous les terrains, y compris ceux qui ne sont pas le mode d’expression naturel des pilotes européens. Seb et Daniel ont gagné en Finlande, sur les terres des Finlandais volants en Suède sur la neige, là où les Suédois, Norvégiens et autres nordiques étaient supposés invincibles, et bien sûr sur goudron. Normal, Loeb est aussi un pilote de circuit qui s’est classé second aux 24 Heures du Mans et épata Henri Pescarolo par son adaptation à l’endurance et sa vitesse d’apprentissage des spécificités d’une nouvelle discipline, notamment le comportement d’un prototype doté d’appendices aérodynamiques provoquant d’énormes appuis à grande vitesse.

En outre, Sébastien Loeb est fort mentalement. Très fort. Il l’a montré l’an dernier en remportant son huitième titre dans un contexte particulièrement pénible. Il résista aux fourberies de Quesnel et Ogier et ramena à lui une équipe qui, jusqu’à l’automne, avait franchement oeuvré contre ses intérêts.

L’image Citroën a changé grâce à lui

Des Citroën en rallye, ça s’était déjà vu dès avant la naissance de Sébastien Loeb. La marque au double chevron s’est souvent attachée à dynamiser son image par la compétition.

Pour preuve, ce dessin d’une GS en rallye. Il est extrait d’une BD publicitaire réalisée par Jean Graton, le papa de Michel Vaillant, afin de promouvoir la voiture moyenne de la gamme Citroën au temps des seventies.

Dans la vraie vie aussi, Citroën avait brillé en Rallye. Lucien Bianchi porta haut les couleurs de la marque dans de nombreuses épreuves. Il faillit notamment remporter le premier Marathon Londres –Sydney. Il méritait la victoire et en fut privé dans le dernier tronçon par une voiture de tourisme qui vint le percuter après avoir violé les règles élémentaires de prudence et le code de la route.

Le Finlandais Pauli Toivonen remporta le Monte-Carlo 1966 au volant d’une DS 21.

Son fils Henri serait à son tour pilote Citroën et réaliserait de jolis chronos avec des CX avant de courir pour Opel, Porsche et Lancia.

On vit même des CX en circuit aux mains de pilotes renommés parmi lesquels quelques stars de la Formule 1.

Plus tard, la BX séduirait des gentlemen drivers de haut niveau. Tout le monde se souvient de celles de Jean-Luc Pailler en rallycross (une auto qui lui permettra de franchir le seuil du professionnalisme). L’excellent rallyman Jean-Louis Ravenel en monta une pour l’engager dans sa discipline de prédilection (cf. la photo ci-dessus prise par Gilles Mahé au Touraine 1987).

Mais malgré toutes ces autos et les performances incroyables des Visa (ci-dessus celle de Christian Rio au Touraine 1982), Citroën conservait une image de constructeur de voitures pour clients d’âge mûr. Ce n’est plus le cas. Sébastien Loeb a rajeuni l’image de Citroën. Il est populaire, charismatique, sympathique. Bien sûr, à un moment ou l’autre viendra le temps de gérer l’après Loeb. il faudra plus qu’un pilote rapide pour créer un vecteur de communication aussi fort que lui. Outre ses qualités sur la route, le successeur devra afficher une personnalité attachante, sérieuse et sobre, Pas forcément un Français. Sans doute faut-il chercher parmi les jeunes qui montent sans avoir la tête qui enfle dans les proportions de la grenouille qui veut devenir plus grosse que le bœuf au point d’exploser dans un rallye sur deux. Si j’étais à la tête de Citroën Total WR, je surveillerais de près l’Estonien Ott Tanak, le Norvégien Andreas Mikkelsen et le Belge Thierry Neuville.

Et il veut une DS.

Quand je vois ma nièce ou d'autres gamins, les yeux rivés sur le tout tout petit écran, quand je les vois se disputer pour savoir qui aura la DS.... ça me goooonfle!

Déjà Zorro, pour le décoller de Gulli c'est toute une histoire! Il réclame la télé dès qu'il y a un temps mort dans l'entreprise : quand ses vieux sont au pieu le matin (bon là il a le droit!), quand il est en pyj et que ses frères et soeur sont encore sous la douche, quand je prépare le repas "pendant que tu fais à manger, je vais nous mettre Gulli, comme ça tu nous auras pas dans les pattes!" (il est mignon)....

Et les ados, alors! Certaines de mes collègues blogueuses n'en peuvent plus de se battre avec leur gars d'1m85 pour qu'il arrête de jouer!

Grand Mari est moins ferme que moi sur la question. Il se dit que ses potes ont la précieuse console et que Zorro ne doit pas être en marge...

Ouais. Mais bon, certains ont une piscine olympique dans leur jardin c'est par pour ça qu'il faut qu'on creuse la pelouse de l'entreprise? Mais si ça demande réflexion... (Est-ce que je demande un iphone pour mon anniversaire, moi?)

Puis, aussi, en toute honnêteté, je comprends pas l'intérêt des jeux vidéos. J'ai déjà essayé, je trouve ça vite chiant.

Est-ce que j'ai peur que mon gosse devienne accro de jeux vidéos?

Est-ce que s'il la reçoit en cadeau, je saurai gérer son temps avec la console? (non, parce que j'en quand même déjà un peu de boulot avec le reste!) et aussi gérer les conflits de prêt à ses frangins?

Ou est-ce que, j'ai pas envie qu'il en soit équipé parce que je trouve ça sans intérêt?

Ed Schultz has been back from his suspension for insulting Laura Ingraham for a little more than a week now, and the MSNBC host has returned to Fox attack mode--.

"Glenn Beck has less than three weeks left to spew his nonsense on Fox News," Schultz . "But last night things went way too far."

Schultz took issue how Beck pointed to Obama while encouraging viewers to buy a gun before the president's plan to propose a national gun registry gains traction.

"This will do nothing but make it harder for you to get a gun. Why would you get a gun?" Beck asked, motioning to an image of Obama. "To prepare for tough times. That's why.""Pointing to a photograph of the President of the United States after asking 'Why would you get a gun?' is absolutely unacceptable," Schultz said. "And being a first-class idiot."

The segment reignited the issue that surfaced in the wake of Gabrielle Giffords' shooting: cable news' use of violent rhetoric and gun imagery. By now, Schultz said, "Beck should know better than to peddle that kind of violent rhetoric."

Western wildfires fanned by windy, dry conditions

Wildfires forced thousands of people from their homes in Arizona and Colorado as firefighters fought to keep one massive blaze out of New Mexico, where flare-ups that skipped along treetops threatened a small mountain town.

Arizona's massive Wallow fire, burning since May 29, had grown to 706 square miles, or more than 452,000 acres, by Monday as containment increased to 18 percent. It burned perilously close to the New Mexico state line, just about a mile from the working-class community of Luna, where residents were warned to be prepared to flee.

In the state's opposite corner, near the Colorado border, a wildfire fanned by high winds that has forced hundreds of people from their homes more than doubled in size to an estimated 6,000 acres.

"We're watching trees explode before our eyes. It's horrendous," said Barbara Riley, a schoolteacher and bed-and-breakfast owner in the northeastern New Mexico community of Raton. A 20-mile section of the main north-south highway through New Mexico and Colorado remained closed, causing hundreds of travelers to drive hours out of their way.

Crews worked furiously to protect Luna from the Wallow fire, after a successful weekend of no major fire growth despite gusting winds and dry conditions.

Hundreds of firefighters worked along U.S. Highway 180 between Luna and the state line, hacking down brush, using chain saws to cut trees, and burning fuel in the fire's path.

At Luna Lake in Arizona, just a few miles from town, helicopters collected water and flew west to attack flames sending up thick, gray smoke.

Catron County Undersheriff Ian Fletcher said the roughly 200 Luna residents hadn't yet been ordered to leave, but evacuation plans were in place.

Fire spokesman Sean Johnson said the work crews have done clearing brush and setting their own fires to burn off fuel along the state line has so far spared Luna from the inferno.

"That's what's saved the town," Johnson said. "The line is holding. There's no fire in New Mexico that we haven't set ourselves."

Roughly 7,000 residents of the two Arizona mountain towns of Eagar and Springerville on the fire's northern edge were allowed back home over the weekend. Crews had stopped the blaze's northern advance and were trying to corral its eastern push into New Mexico.

Officials continued to express optimism that their efforts were paying off.

"It's getting better every day," said fire spokesman Kelly Wood.

The blaze is the second largest in Arizona's history, although it has burned only 31 homes, four rental cabins and 36 outbuildings. The state's largest blaze, the 2002 Rodeo-Chediski fire, burned 732 square miles and destroyed 491 buildings.

About 2,700 people who live in several Arizona resort communities in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest remained under an evacuation order. Fire officials said they were working to make the picturesque hamlets of Alpine, Nutrioso and Greer safe for residents to go home, possibly within the week.

Greer, considered the jewel of eastern Arizona's summer havens, lost more than 20 homes and a couple dozen outbuildings as flames moved into the valley last week.

The wildfire near the New Mexico-Colorado border started Sunday on the west side of Interstate 25 and jumped to the east side later that day. Up to 1,000 people were asked to leave their homes northeast of Raton.

The fire prompted the closure of I-25 from Trinidad, Colo., to Raton, sending summer motorists on lengthy detours. Fire officials said at least two structures had burned, but they couldn't say whether they were homes, businesses or outbuildings.

The blaze more than doubled in size in a matter of hours Monday, to about 9 square miles, as crews worked to protect structures.

"It looks like your worst nightmare," Raton Mayor Neil Segotta said after he saw the plume of smoke rising from the hills outside the city.

Another wildfire in southern Colorado spread to about 1,000 acres and forced the evacuation of a church camp. Crews were attacking the blaze near Westcliffe from the air after it broke out Sunday and quickly spread in dry conditions.

Meanwhile, in southeastern Colorado, crews were close to containing three large wildfires that broke out last week.

Several other fires were burning around Arizona, including a huge blaze near the southeastern border town of Portal that has burned more than 232 square miles since May 8. It was about 50 percent contained. Another fire that broke out Sunday outside Sierra Vista near the Coronado National Memorial also forced evacuations.

According to Dr. Siegal, people who lose a lot of weight frequently undertake physical activities that they couldn't enjoy when they were overweight.

Earthquake latest in natural disasters to hit Missouri

Missouri suffered a small earthquake Tuesday that caused no deaths or injuries, a relatively minor blow for a state hit by a series of natural disasters this spring including tornadoes, floods, soaring temperatures, and even cicadas.

The quake struck about 50 miles southwest of St. Louis at 3:10 a.m. central time, registering 4.2 intensity and causing no injuries or damage, authorities said. The U.S. Geological Survey in Golden, Colorado said the city closest to the quake was Richwoods, Missouri, six miles northeast of the epicenter.

In nearby Sullivan, resident Darren Hildebrand told local television that he woke up when the quake hit. "It felt like a truck hit the house." he said, but reported no damage or injuries.

The Missouri region is part of the New Madrid seismic zone where three large quakes registering 7.5 to 7.7 in intensity struck December 16, 1811, January 23, 1812 and February 7, 1812, according to the Geological Survey. Contemporary accounts said the quakes were felt as far away as Washington, D.C.

Since then there have been smaller quakes, including a 6.6-magnitude quake in 1895 and a 5.4-magnitude quake in 1968.

The fault runs along the Mississippi River from Memphis to St. Louis.

Missouri's trouble with things natural has stretched through the spring, with the worst disaster in Joplin, where 141 people died in a May 22 tornado, the deadliest single tornado in the United States since 1947.

In April, a tornado hit St. Louis, destroying up to 100 homes and damaging the Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and causing its temporary closure. Injuries were reported, but no deaths.

The city is now struggling with a blazing heat wave that drove the temperature to a record 97 degrees on Monday.

By Tuesday 43 cooling centers were open in the St. Louis area to help residents beat the heat. Since Saturday emergency workers have responded to 12 heat-related cases, the St. Louis Department of Health reported.

And if that were not enough, the area is suffering through an infestation of cicadas, which are back in the area as part of the insect's 13-year mating cycle, making lots of noise, fouling pools and making any outdoor picnic an adventure. The bugs are harmless and should be gone in another two weeks.

The Hangover Part II made its debut on the big screen this weekend, and along with it, made an appearance inin a Warner Bros. promotion for the film.Specifically, a free update to the game ( [iTunes link]) features the ability to fight Mr. Chow (played in The Hangover Part II by Ken Jeong) in Bangkok (where the film is set), watch the full trailer within the app and buy tickets.

For those unfamiliar with the Hangover series, the update is especially fitting since Tyson, playing himself, was the breakout star of the first movie and makes a return appearance in the sequel.

So far, the update seems to have ignited more interest in Main Event, which was downloaded more than one million times in its release week back in March.The creators of the game, , tell Mashable that they saw more than 120,000 active users of a new city leaderboard feature on Thursday, which allows users to see the top scorers in their area based on geolocation.

The game, which is very much modeled after the classic NES title Mike Tysons Punch-Out, has also added more virtual items, such as a Power Balance wristbrand that helps users beat more challenging opponents in their quest to get to Mike Tyson.Its those virtual items -- along with promos like the one for Hangover II -- that RockLive hopes will help the monetize the free game.

Two NYPD Cops May Be Suspects in Long Island Serial Killings

Now the New York Post isthat two NYPD cops are being "eyed" in the serial killings after investigators learned they got into trouble for hiring prostitutes while working for the department, sources familiar with the case related. There's no word yet as to whether the officers acted in tandem or even knew each other.

One of the cops resigned in the 1990s when his supervisors learned he spent time pursuing prostitutes and paying "down-and-out" women for sex while he was supposed to be on patrol. There is no mention of criminal charges that were filed against him. Even more disturbing, the other cop is still with the NYPD, although not on the street. He was stripped of his gun and badge years ago because he allegedly assaulted a prostitute and got arrested during a sting operation. But after the woman complained to police supervisors, no criminal charges were filed and the internal investigation ended.

Moreover, the idea that such egregious incidences of officer misconduct in the past might not have been investigated and dealt with thoroughly is almost as unsettling as the idea that the sadistic killer was in law enforcement. Perhaps it's true, as some have , that our nation needs a serial killer to care about prostitutes.

US expects to grill bin Laden women 'soon'

The United States said it expects Pakistan will "soon" let it question three widows of Osama bin Laden apprehended during the commando raid that killed him, despite Islamabad's fury over the operation.

But Pakistan said that it had received no formal request for access to the women, as further details emerged of the backdrop to the dramatic May 2 assault in which the Al-Qaeda kingpin was shot dead by US forces.

Bin Laden's Yemeni wife, who was shot in the leg, has told Pakistani investigators that they lived in the compound where bin Laden was killed in the garrison town of Abbottabad -- near Islamabad -- for five years.

With the pivotal US-Pakistan relationship under severe strain, the White House had called on Islamabad to help counter growing mistrust by granting American investigators access to the women.

"The United States expects to be granted access soon," a US official said, without providing more details. The three wives, along with several children, have been in Pakistani custody since the raid.

Pakistan's foreign ministry said it had "not received a formal request from the United States" to question them, while a Pakistani military official told AFP that "so far no decision in this regard has been taken".

"The family's under treatment, they are under protective custody," he said.

Ministry spokeswoman Tehmina Janjua added that the women's countries of origin -- Yemen and Saudi Arabia -- had not asked that they be extradited.

The New York Times meanwhile reported that the elite US Navy SEALs who gunned down bin Laden had permission to kill Pakistani forces if necessary.

The newspaper said President Barack Obama raised the prospect of a clash 10 days before the operation, resulting in two extra helicopters being deployed to protect the assault team.

Citing a senior Obama administration official, it said the SEALs would have been allowed to fight back if engaged by hostile police officers or soldiers.

"Their instructions were to avoid any confrontation if at all possible. But if they had to return fire to get out, they were authorised to do it," the official said.

On Monday, Pakistan's Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani dismissed as "absurd" accusations that complicity or incompetence had allowed bin Laden to hide out for years in the sizeable compound two hours' drive from Islamabad.

He vowed a full investigation into the security and intelligence lapses -- to be overseen by a Pakistani general -- but also hit out at Washington's decision to strike on its own deep inside Pakistan.

Pakistan is a key ally in the US-led war on terrorism centered in neighboring Afghanistan. But tense relations have been stretched even further by the discovery of bin Laden living less than a mile from a military academy.

Britain's Guardian newspaper reported Tuesday that Pakistan granted US forces permission almost a decade ago to conduct a unilateral raid if Washington knew where bin Laden was hiding.

Under the deal between then-military leader General Pervez Musharraf and president George W. Bush, both sides agreed that in public at least, Pakistan would vociferously protest the incursion after it happened.

Islamabad has done just that, saying its sovereignty was violated.

A spokesman for Musharraf's political party -- which he runs from self-exile in London -- denied the claims.

"It is a ridiculous claim. This is all nonsense," said Mohammad Ali Saif, secretary general of Musharraf's All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) party.

"Mr Pervez Musharraf has already clearly stated that he did not have any understanding or agreement on this issue.

"Musharraf has always said if there was any understanding, it was that our own forces will take action or carry out operations on Pakistani soil and that no foreign forces will be allowed to take action inside Pakistan," he said.

Washington emphatically refused Monday to say sorry for the raid which killed the world's most-wanted man, blamed for masterminding the 9/11 attacks on the United States in which almost 3,000 people were killed.

"We obviously take the statements and concerns of the Pakistani government seriously, but we also do not apologise for the action that we took, that this president took," White House spokesman Jay Carney said.

There is considerable US suspicion that there must have been some kind of collusion to enable the Al-Qaeda leader to live undetected in Abbottabad, and outraged lawmakers are demanding that billions in aid to Pakistan be suspended.

But Gilani told parliament he had "full confidence in the high command of the Pakistan Armed Forces and the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI)."

The highly influential military establishment is perceived to be Pakistan's strongest institution but the debacle has left it red-faced.

It has hit back at criticism, demanding that the United States cut its troop presence in the country to a "minimum" and threatening to review cooperation if another unilateral raid is conducted.

Gilani also insisted Pakistan reserves the right to "retaliate with full force," although he stopped short of spelling what, if anything, would be done if the US staged another high-profile anti-terror raid.

A US official, speaking to AFP on condition of anonymity, said the CIA had no plans to withdraw its top spy from Islamabad after his identity was allegedly divulged in a Pakistani newspaper.

Film "Too Big To Fail" is a financial horror flick

To the producers of the film "Too Big To Fail," the story plays like a horror movie.

It covers the period between the failure of investment bank Bear Stearns and the passage of the U.S. bank bailout program, and it depicts a relentless series of mishaps where every problem is succeeded by the emergence of a new problem.

"You keep thinking you've got a handle on it, and then the knock comes on the door, and there's a boogeyman again," said Len Amato, president of HBO Films.

That scary-movie quality reflects the reality of the events of 2008: the financial system was close to breaking down and every day brought a new calamity.

In the book "Too Big to Fail" by the New York Times' Andrew Ross Sorkin, the horrors are in abundance.

Then-Lehman Brothers Chief Executive Dick Fuld does not try very hard to negotiate with billionaire Warren Buffett for a capital injection just months before the bank goes under.

American International Group Chief Executive Robert Willumstad struggles to answer bankers' basic questions about the company's capital and credit after Lehman failed.

Morgan Stanley Chief Financial Officer Colm Kelleher admits to his board that the bank could run out of cash by the middle of the week.

"People tell me that when they finish the book they feel tired and anxiety stricken," Sorkin said. "That's what the story was."

The trick for the makers of "Too Big To Fail" was cramming 500 pages of financial meltdown into 98 minutes.

A lot of nuance is lost along the way. In the book, Fuld and his chief financial officer Erin Callan call Warren Buffett and ask if he would be interested in investing. Buffett makes an offhand proposal for a $3 billion to $5 billion deal.

Buffett then looks at Lehman's public financial filings and finds enough red flags to scare him off. When Fuld calls back, there is an awkward misunderstanding about Buffett's original proposal, and the deal collapses.

Later, a news story about Lehman being swindled out of $355 million in Japan hits the wires, and Buffett wonders why Fuld never mentioned the episode as he was trying to raise money.

In the movie, produced for HBO and directed by "L.A. Confidential" director Curtis Hanson, discussions between Lehman and Buffett happen off-camera. Callan, played by Amy Carlson, later asks Fuld, played by James Woods, about his reaction to Buffett's offer. Fuld says, "Screw Warren Buffett."

Time is sped up in the movie, so events that took weeks to unfold are telescoped into days or hours.

"It comes with the territory of making a movie, you're looking at a six month time frame, and movies have this relentless forward-moving structure," Amato said. "And it's a convention of making a film that a certain dramatic license is acceptable."

Sorkin's thoughts?

"They did a great job. They captured the peak moments of the book," Sorkin said, adding that he knew that not every scene would make it into the movie.

But, he said, "every scene in the book is my baby."

Apple iPad Smart Cover: A New Kind of Case

s Apple event, where the world was first , one thing stood out to me above everything else. Many of the new features and specs had been leaked, or correctly guessed, months ago, but no one knew that Apple would pour its innovative energies into a case for the new device. But they did, and the new Smart Cover might be the best case I've ever seen for a mobile device.

The Smart Cover is a single sheet, made of either polyurethane or leather and either pink, orange, green, blue, several shades of gray, black, cream or red. It snaps magnetically onto the side of the iPad, and closes over top of the screen. It protects the parts of the iPad that need protecting—the screen—and leaves the parts that don't—the rugged, aluminum back and sides—to the elements. It makes the case thin, the iPad lighter, and best of all makes the case and iPad extremely easy to separate. The magnetic system should work like the MagSafe adapters on Mac computers, which are a popular feature.

But the clever design doesn't end there. The Smart Cover can bend and fold into a number of different positions; you can use it at one angle, slightly tilted, for an ideal typing position, and another, nearly vertical, for video viewing and FaceTime. It appears to only support certain positions for the iPad (there's no obvious way to prop it vertically in portrait mode, for instance), though.

The Smart Cover and the iPad 2 were designed together, so there's some unique functionality built in when you use both. If you close the case, the iPad automatically goes to sleep; open it back up and the iPad wakes. The case's underside is also microfiber, so when closed it will actually clean smudges and fingerprints.

The Smart Cover, available on March 11 when the iPad goes on sale, will cost $39 for the polyurethane version and $69 for leather.

Boney M singer 'promoting' rebel Abkhazia

A singer from 1970s disco group Boney M continues a visit to Georgia's rebel region of Abkhazia on Wednesday after a concert intended to promote the war-scarred territory abroad, officials said.

Singer Sheila Bonnick performed Boney M's hits at a concert on Tuesday in Sukhumi, the capital of the disputed Russian-backed region which fought a war to break away from ex-Soviet Georgia in the 1990s and has since seen repeated outbreaks of violence.

"It is very important in terms of promoting our country outside of Abkhazia," the region's culture minister, Nugzar Logua, told local news agency Apsnypress, adding that the concert was also a "kind of gift" to people who fought for Abkhazia.

Bonnick described the Abkhaz people as "warm and hospitable" and said that she would spend Wednesday sightseeing in the breakaway Black Sea region, the news agency said.

Bonnick is one of several singers performing Boney M hits like "Rasputin" and "Daddy Cool" around the world after the original group split, and her concert is not the first time that the 1970s disco stars have become involved in the long-running conflicts in Georgia.

In 2007, the Georgian authorities brought Boney M singer Marcia Barrett to play near the frontline in another Russian-backed rebel region, South Ossetia, to promote their campaign to regain control.

Georgia fought a brief war with Russia over South Ossetia in 2008, which also saw fighting in Abkhazia.

Moscow then controversially recognised both regions as independent states and permanently stationed troops there, a move which the Georgian government and some of its Western supporters have described as occupation.

Celtics stay hot, beat Warriors 115-93

Kevin Garnett and Rajon Rondo each came close to a triple-double, and the Boston Celtics picked up right where they left off before the All-Star break with an easy 115-93 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.

Garnett had 24 points, 12 rebounds and six assists, and Rondo had 19 points, 15 assists and six rebounds to help the Celtics stay atop the Eastern Conference standings and break a six-game losing streak at Golden State. They hadn't won in the Bay Area since Dec. 29, 2003.

Dorell Wright scored 19 points and Stephen Curry had 18 for the Warriors, who had won seven of their last nine before the break and appeared to be building some momentum. Instead, they fell apart in the fourth quarter and couldn't recover against one of the NBA's elite.

There was no sign that Boston had any All-Star hangover.

The Celtics had a record-tying four players in the NBA showcase along with Doc Rivers and his coaching staff on the sideline for the East stars. They got big nights from all four, with Paul Pierce adding 23 points and Ray Allen scoring 18.

Even with strong performances from the Big Four, the Celtics were still locked in a tight game for most of the first three quarters. They pulled away at the end of the third with that strong, physical defense that has been their staple.

Nate Robinson's dunk and Rondo's 3-pointer at the end of the third period gave Boston an 88-78 lead. The Warriors trimmed the deficit to four early in the fourth before the Celtics again took hold, going ahead by 18 points on a run that was highlighted by Pierce's fast-break dunk on a bounce pass from Rondo that split two defenders.

About the only downside for Boston was that center Kendrick Perkins left in the second half with a bruised left knee and did not return. The injury did not appear serious, although with centers Shaquille O'Neal (sore right leg) and Jermaine O'Neal (sore left knee) already sidelined, any injury to the frontcourt could be a major setback.

Not that these Celtics have fallen into any traps this season.

A minute with: Martin Lawrence talking "Big Mommas"

LOS ANGELES (Reuters Life!) – Martin Lawrence has starred in big-budget action flicks like "Bad Boys" and motorcycle riding comedy "Wild Hogs," but his most famous role may be one in which he portrays a woman in his "Big Momma" movies.

Martin portrays an FBI agent who dresses as a no-nonsense female who goes by Big Momma in order to catch the crooks. He reprises that role in "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son," which debuts on Friday. Lawrence sat down to talk with Reuters about the new movie, and the role.

Q: Why reprise this character for the third time?

A: "Because I enjoy playing her. Big Momma is an endearing character, she's lovable, smart, funny, spicy, in your face attitude, she can kick some butt."

Q: Which of her traits do you like best.

A: "The humor. It's her humor, her mannerisms, the way she says things, the funny things she says."

Q: Is that improv or how much do you go off the script?

A: "Some things are on the script but a lot is improv."

Q: What's the most challenging part of playing Big Momma?

A: "Getting into the make-up. It's so tedious, there's nothing like that. To go through that process every day, it used to be three hours. Now, we got it down to an hour and a half. Glue every day, behind your ears and in your eyelashes and eyebrows. It's not normal having another face glued to your face."

Q: Now you've got your new sidekick (Brandon T. Jackson), and at least you had a partner who was sharing your pain.

A: "Well yeah, it's always good to have a partner, you know? ... I was glad we were able to get Brandon, he did a real good job. He did his thing, he delivered and it was good."

Q: Do you have a favorite scene or moment in the film that, when you look back, you're like 'oh yeah, that's it.'

A: "I enjoy the twister scene because it was funny. Faizon Love was so good in the movie. And, telling my son that he, you know, signing his papers for him to rap and him telling me that he wanted to go off to college, there's no rush to greatness. That was a favorite scene."

Q: It's interesting that you guys really incorporated so much of what young pop culture is into today, with the music and the singing and the dancing. Was that a conscious decision to bring in this young audience?

A: "I think so. I think if you ask John Whitesell, the director, I think he would say 'yeah.' And, it's something different, you know, bring that energy, that young energy."

Q: "Having lived in her skin, what do you take away from Big Momma when you're just Martin Lawrence, doing your thing?

A: "That she's funny and that's she's lovable and that she's a beautiful character to play. And how much she reminds me of my mother and my grandmother. When I look at her in the face, how she looks like that and everything. I take nothing but love from her."

Q: Did you infuse her with bits of your mother and grandmother? Are there signature things?

A: "I'm sure I did. From the voice to the attitude ... (but) I don't think there's one specific thing."

Q: Do you think you'll continue doing this franchise?

A: "I'm going to ride it until the wheels fall off. If this is the last one then thank you all for supporting it and being there and if it's not, I'll see you soon."

Q: "What do you want to see Big Momma do or tackle that she hasn't done yet. She's done a lot here"

A: "She hasn't gone overseas. She hasn't gone to Paris; she hasn't gone to Rome. It'd be fun, it'd be fun to go overseas.

Sun Erupts With Most Powerful Solar Flare in 4 Years

The sun unleashed its strongest solar flare in four years last night (Feb. 14), hurling a massive wave of charged particles from electrified gas into space and toward Earth.

The solar storm sent a flash of radiation that hit Earth in a matter of minutes. Now a huge cloud of charged particles is headed our way. These coronal mass ejections, as they are called, typically take around 24 hours or more to arrive. They can spark spectacular displays of the aurora borealis, or Northern Lights, at high latitudes and sometimes even into the northern United States.

The mega flare, which registered as a Class X2.2 flare on the scale of solar flares, was the first class X flare to occur in the new solar cycle of activity, which began last year. The sun is now ramping up toward a solar maximum around 2013.

"It has been the largest flare since Dec 6, 2006, so a long time coming," said Phil Chamberlin, deputy project scientistfor NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory, which observed the flare. "There were some clues that led us to believe the likelihood of moderate to large flares (M class or above) could occur, but we were all surprised when it actually happened to be a large X-class."

Class X flares are the strongest types of solar flares that can erupt from the sun. There are also two weaker categories: Class M flares, which are medium strength but still powerful, and Class C flares, which are the weakest storms from the sun.

Last night's X2.2 flare is the most powerful solar eruption of the sun's current weather cycle, called Solar Cycle 24. According to the website Spaceweather.com, which monitors space weather and skywatching events, the flare was the strongest of the last four years.

"It just means that Solar Cycle 24 is ramping up!" Chamberlin told SPACE.com. "This is the first of probably many more X-class flare to occur over the next 2 to 4 years as we reach the peak and then descend back down from solar cycle 24 maximum."

The Monday flare came on the heels of another, only slightly less powerful, class M6.6 flare on Sunday, Feb. 13. Both events erupted from the same area on the sun, called active region 1158.

"AR 1158 is in the southern hemisphere, which has been lagging the north in activity but now leads in big flares!" NASA scientists wrote on the Solar Dynamics Observatory website.

Yesterday's Class X flare erupted at 8:50 p.m. EST on Feb.14 (0150 GMT Feb. 15).

Such a flare can bathe the Earth in high doses of ultraviolet radiation and X-rays hurl a huge burst of solar wind in our direction. When this burst arrives at Earth, the electrons and protons from the solar wind come into contact with our planet's magnetic field, and stream toward the magnetic poles.

The disturbance can create a geomagnetic storm in Earth's magnetic field.

"Geomagnetic storms are possible when the CME arrives 36 to 48 hours hence," Spaceweather.com reported.

HTC reportedly prepping 7-inch Flyer tablet, minus Honeycomb

Rumor has it that the maker of last year's hottest Android smartphones is poised to unveil its first Android-powered tablet, but the rumored specs are nothing to write home about.

snagged a few sketchy details for the HTC Flyer early Tuesday but(the anonymous kind, naturally) who managed to fill in some of the blanks.

The latest word is that the tablet will be running Android 2.3 "Gingerbread"not 3.0 "Honeycomb," the first tablet-centric version of the Android OS that'll be baked into .

Instead, the Flyer will come with a new version of HTC's "Sense" user interface, complete with some "adjustments" to "create a smooth transition to a bigger screen," according to Amobil. (Could this mean the arrival of the rumored HTC "Sensation" UI, perhaps? You never know, although Pocketnow believes that the Sensation willrather a new tablet-oriented interface.)

Amobil's sources are also tipping the 1GHz MSM8255 as the processor under the Flyer's hood, the same single-core Snapdragon model that powers the current . Fair enough, but as we saw at CES earlier this month, dual-core processors are all the rage when it comes to the latest tablets.

Other rumored features for the Flyer include a pair of camerasa five-megapixel camera in back, armed with an LED flash and facial recognition abilities, and a 1.3MP lens in front for video chat via Skypealong with an HDMI video-out port, DLNA media sharing over local networks, and HSPA data support.

Here's another interesting (if curious) detail: according to Amobil's sources, the Flyer's 1025 by 600 capacitive display will come with a stylus.

That's something of a head-scratcher, and perhaps a red flag about the authenticity of the report. Or, who knowsmaybe HTC figures that its tablet customers would appreciate the gesture. (Of course, the stylus would need a specially-designed tip to work with the Flyer's capacitive touchscreen.)

Amobil'sincludes a fuzzy render of the rumored tablet, but unfortunately, there's not much to seewe're basically talking a black, seven-inch tablet with an HTC logo on the bezel.

All in all, the Flyerassuming the rumors specs are real, of courseis shaping up as more of a Samsung Galaxy Tab competitor than a tablet heavyweight like the Xoom or the G-Slate, which is a bit of a letdown coming from the maker of last year's red-hot Evo 4G for Sprint and svelte Droid Incredible for Verizon.

Still, Amobil claims that HTC is also prepping a 10-inch, LTE-ready tablet for later in the year; perhaps then, we'll get HTC's take on the dual-core, Honeycomb-powered Android slate. Stay tuned.

Je vous adresse mes meilleurs vœux pour que l’année 2011 vous projette, vous et les vôtres, dans un tourbillon de succès, de bonheur et d’insouciance comparable à celui qui illumina les sixties et le début des seventies, les années Vintage symboles de réussite et d’enthousiasme.

Ce temps fut un âge d’or automobile, tout au moins jusqu’au milieu de l’année 1973 où les limitations de vitesse et les radars commencèrent à détériorer le plaisir de conduire. Une tendance que la première crise du pétrole allait amplifier. De symbole de liberté et de plaisir, l’automobile allait devenir le bouc-émissaire favori de la classe politique et de lobbyistes écolo-jaloux qui ne comprendront jamais rien à la magie d’une automobile de sport ou de compétition.

Mais à l’aube d’une nouvelle année que nous espérons pilote dans nos vies, faisons fi des ennemis de l’automobile. Traitons-les par le mépris. Ces pauvres hères liberticides et incapables de passion ne méritent pas mieux que la société aseptisée qu’ils réclament, à quelque tendance partisane qu’ils appartiennent. Et réjouissons-nous de ce qui nous attend. Les compétitions de VHC se développent et attirent de plus en plus de monde. Les prochaines années vont nous offrir l’occasion de revivre une sorte de remake d’un duel mythique sur les routes des plus grands rallyes. Des Mini Cooper et des DS vont à nouveau s’affronter. Certes, les WRC préparées par BMW et Citroën ne ressemblent plus beaucoup aux voitures dérivées de la série qui se lançaient à l’assaut du Turini au milieu des années 60, mais leurs sigles nous rappellent tout de même une histoire riche en émotions.

En 2011, des pilotes enthousiasmants comme Loïc Duval (en photo ci-dessus) nous offriront encore des spectacles d’une qualité supérieure à tous les scénarii des maîtres de la littérature et du cinéma. Circuit Mortel n’est qu’un blog, pas un média doté d’une rédaction susceptible de couvrir l’ensemble de l’actualité des sports mécaniques. Aussi ne puis-je, faute de temps, traiter tous les thèmes qu’il me plairait de partager avec les visiteurs. Je profite tout de même des traditionnels vœux de nouvelle année pour évoquer quelques –uns de mes pilotes favoris.

Nico Rosberg, tout d’abord. « Rosberg les battrait peut-être tous s'il était au volant d'une Red Bull ». affirma Bernie Ecclestone le 1er décembre 2010. Je n’ai pas l’habitude de me référer à Bernie, mais pour une fois, sa reconnaissance de l’immense talent d’un pilote appelle l’approbation. Alors, je souhaite à Nico Rosberg que sa Mercedes 2011 lui permette de conquérir victoires et titre après de beaux combats contre son compatriote Sebastian Vettel, son copain de karting Lewis Hamilton, l’authentique champion doublé d’un gentleman de grande classe Jenson Button et quelques autres pilotes honorables qui évoluent dans la discipline reine. Ces garçons incarnent le présent et l’avenir de la Formule 1. J’ajouterai que j’espère pour ma part voir Nico Hulkenberg et Vitaly Petrov, qui ont montré de belles qualités en 2010, monter sur les podiums, recevoir le soutien du public comme celui de médias parfois trop attachés – pour ne pas dire inféodés - aux chouchous d’annonceurs généreux et de lobbyistes persuasifs…

Mais le sport automobile, ce n’est pas que la F1. Je donnerai donc de temps en temps des nouvelles des pilotes que j’apprécie particulièrement et qui évoluent dans d’autres disciplines, comme Loïc Duval, l’équipage Yoann Bonato et Benjamin Bouloud, Kimi Räikkönen, Olivier Panis, François Duval, Sébastien Loeb et quelques autres.

Je n’ai hélas pas le pouvoir de changer positivement la vie des visiteurs de Circuit Mortel ni d’apporter à mes pilotes préférés le matériel et les budgets qui les combleraient. Mais je peux partager avec vous mes archives photographiques (j’ai p. ex. réalisé le cliché ci-dessus au départ du Grand National Tour Auto 1973 à Dinard), des souvenirs et anecdotes concernant la course automobile, et parfois des fictions autour de notre sport préféré, ce tant sur le web que sur papier. In-Depth Look at Boonana Malware

Last week a malware threat emerged that impacted both Windows and Mac OS X systems. To be fair, the attack is more social engineering than PC exploit, but it impacts Mac OS X users just the same. ESET's David Harley has written a more detailed , and identified some elements that are contrary to initial reports.

In a , Harley describes why the threat is more of a social engineering attack than a worm. "This is very much social engineering-focused malware: its initial attack is on the user, not on the platform, and it isn't self-launching in the first instance. If you smell a rat when you get the authorize install prompt, the malware can't change your system files so as to allow unflagged external access. Actually, most malware (Windows as well as OS X) relies partly or totally on conning the user into running a malicious application."

Boonana uses the common social engineering technique of the "is this you in this video?" to lure users into clicking on the YouTube link. In some instances, it uses a darker, and significantly more compelling bait, with a message that reads "As you are on my friends list I thought I would let you know I have decided to end my life. For reasons that will be clear please visit my video on this site. Thanks for being my friend."

The Boonana malware is spread both via Facebook messages that originate from the Facebook account of a compromised user, as well as in the form of an e-mail attachment. Harley explains that the results are similar regardless of how the message gets there. " When the potential victim tries to run the "video", a message is generated suggesting that the video can't be watched without the installation of special software."

Clicking the link to install the special software willwhich works equally well on either Windows or Mac OS X--and ESET has confirmed it also works on Linux systems. Once the computer is infected, the malware checks a list of 161 host names and attempts to redirect traffic to a malicious Web site. However, many of the redirect targets have already been taken down, implying that perhaps the Boonana author is relying on an outdated list of malware servers.

Some have linked Boonana as a sort of Mac-compatible variant of the Koobface worm, but ESET found that there are no similarities in the underlying code and has identified Boonana as a unique threat. This attack is certainly no indication that Macs or Linux PCs will be hit with the volume of malware targeted at the Windows operating system, but it is evidence that malware authors are starting to , and suggests that Mac and Linux users need to remain vigilant about security threats.

Can Twitter Be Used to Predict the Stock Market? These Guys Think So

Twitter is people! At least some Cornell University folks seem to think it's a window into people's minds. A recent paper published over at writes a compelling case for Twitter's ability to be used to predict certain things--specifically stock market behavior.

It all stems from the documented belief that the ebb and flow of the stock market is driven by decision making instead of reaction to news. They attempted to prove this by studying 10 months' worth of tweets from almost 3 million users, which is around 10 million tweets. Non-study related tweets like spam were dropped, as the researchers focused on tweets about feelings.

In order to find those particular tweets, Cornell researchers fed the data into two different filters:and Google's Profile of Mood States. Both filters process mood determination and were used to that effect for the purpose of the paper.

The most interesting part of the paper is the fact that it appeared to work; to quote the arXiv.org^aEURTMs summary page, "We find an accuracy of 87.6% in predicting the daily up and down changes in the closing values of the DJIA and a reduction of the Mean Average Percentage Error by more than 6%." That's a rather high percentage of prediction accuracy when you think about how it^aEURTMs sourced from a 150 character social device like Twitter.

and the current (at the time of this writing) Superbad trend aside, I've always thought of Twitter as an amazing resource for social and news aggregation. It's hard to beat an instant update of events and happenings across the globe, and the sheer power of the service and what it's done for world news can't be stressed enough.

You only have to remember back to the fairly recent elections in Iran where a media blackout was pierced by Twitter feeds to see how world-changing it is. The US Government actually asked Twitter to not run a planned upgrade (with included downtime) in order to keep the flow of information coming from Iran. It was an amazing thing to see and an amazing tool for activists and discontents of government. Anyone with an internet connection has easy access to Twitter and no central authority has any control over it.

Of course from a casual-use perspective, Twitter brings a lot to the table too.It's one of the best news aggregates available on the internet. In the same place you can see the opinions of unlimited like-minded people, professional or otherwise, to that same news. With twitter's still happening, it'll only get better.

Mosque issue good for GOP, only if they don't bring it up

WASHINGTON — The New York Islamic cultural center debate has given a boost to Republicans, but most of them aren't eager to talk about it.

They don't have to, because ever since President Barack Obama injected himself into the flap, Democrats and the media have kept the issue alive.

While the issue is unlikely to resonate much by November's elections, it's forced Democrats off their economic message — the issue erupted on the same day as Social Security's 75th anniversary, a day that Democrats had hoped to boast about their sponsorship of the program.

Republicans have another reason to keep quiet. If they appear too eager to use the issue for political gain by stridently opposing the Islamic center, they risk looking intolerant — and that could be a huge liability for them as their party woos the independent swing voters who likely will decide dozens of congressional and gubernatorial elections this fall.

"They only need to say, 'They have the right to build it, but let's find another place to do it. We respect Muslims and their religion, and there's no need for this to become a controversy,''' said Terry Madonna , the director of the Center for Politics and Public Affairs at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pa.

Polls illustrate how delicately politicians must tread on this question. An August 19-22 Pew Research Center survey found that people agreed more with those who object to building the center by 51 percent to 34 percent, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points. Independents agreed 50 percent to 37 percent.

However, people support tolerance too, as 62 percent said that Muslims should have the same right as other religious groups to build houses of worship, while 25 percent said that local communities have the right to bar mosques if they're not wanted.

Republican leaders reflect those views.

"The fact that someone has the right to do something doesn't necessarily make it the right thing to do," said Rep. John Boehner of Ohio , the Republican leader in the House of Representatives . "That is the essence of tolerance, peace and understanding. This is not an issue of law, whether religious freedom or local zoning, this is a basic issue of respect for a tragic moment in our history."

The usually loquacious Boehner is saying little else; he'd rather talk about the economy, said his spokesman Kevin Smith .

"Republicans are focused on creating jobs and cutting spending, and that is exactly as it should be because those are the top priorities of the American people," Smith said.

Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Chris Van Hollen of Maryland defended Obama's stand, adding, "I'm going to leave it where the president left it. And you know, every member (of Congress ) will have to look at the issue and make their own decisions."

The Islamic center controversy exploded after Obama declared August 13 that the developers seeking to build the Cordoba House — a 13-story, $100 million facility two blocks from the World Trade Center site in lower Manhattan — have every right to do so.A day later, however, Obama hedged his support, saying his stand was on the principle of law involved, and that "I was not and I will not comment on the wisdom of making the decision to put a mosque there."

The proposed center, modeled after New York's 92nd Street Y, would house a pool, gymnasium, 500-seat auditorium for public events, and a prayer space.

Opponents say that having an Islamic prayer space so close to ground zero would be an affront to Sept. 11 victims' families and violate the sanctity of a neighborhood that includes bars, restaurants, an Off Track Betting parlor, a strip club and a mosque that existedefore the first World Trade Center tower opened in 1970.

New York Gov. David Paterson , a Democrat, has tried to persuade the planners of the project — local Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and developer Sharif el Gamal — to relocate the project, to no avail.

Obama's statements gave Republicans an opportunity to pounce, and many eagerly did. The GOP Senate campaign committee sent out press releases in hotly contested states shortly after Obama spoke, demanding to know where Democratic candidates stood.

Some Republicans also spoke out — carefully.

Pennsylvania Republican Senate candidate Pat Toomey said he wasn't disputing the right of the developers to build where they choose, "I'm simply suggesting they should be encouraged to see the error of their ways. The murder of 3,000 Americans was committed very near to that site in the name of Islam."

More than 2,700 people, including Muslims, were killed when two hijacked planes slammed into the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001 .

Ed Martin , a Missouri Republican running for the House of Representatives , said that "those who seek to erect a victory monument in New York where our fellow citizens were immolated and crushed by a profoundly wicked strain of Islam do not deserve the cloak of religious freedom that peaceful Muslim neighbors enjoy and to which they are entitled."

However, most Republicans avoided the issue unless asked, and tried to change the subject to issues that voters are more concerned about.

"The sentiments (about the mosque) are real, but the voters are focused on jobs and the economy," said Republican strategist David Carney . "I don't think voters are going to cast their ballot" on the Islamic center project.

John Green , a University of Akron political science professor who specializes in religion and politics, said that pressing the issue could benefit Republican candidates in the short term, but haunt the GOP in the long run.

"Right now, it's good (for Republicans), but it could lose traction and hurt Republicans because of a desire for tolerance among voters," Green said. "In the present environment, it might not be that much of a danger because many of those advocating tolerance are linked to an unpopular president."

"It's a little like the immigration issue — it works now for Republicans who want to seal the border, but could become a problem later because of the country's growing immigrant population," Green said.

Some Republicans recognize that.

Last week New Jersey Republican Gov. Chris Christie accused some within his own party as well as the White House of playing politics with the issue.

" . . . It would be wrong to so overreact to that, that we paint Islam with a brush of radical Muslim extremists that just want to kill Americans because we are Americans," Christie said.

LA DS NE MANQUE PAS D’HUMOUR

Comme toutes les grandes dames, la DS ne manque d’humour.

La note précédente évoque son passé sur route et en course. Docu-fiction dont le narrateur est un garçon de 14 ans, elle incite à rappeler une blague relevant des plaisanteries de potaches. Dans les cours des collèges, combien de fois n’avons-nous pas entendu la plaisanterie qui suit ?

Question : qu’est-ce que le comble du mécanicien ?

Réponse : démonter une DS pour s’en faire une ID.

La DS a aussi joué plus finement des rôles qui nous ont fait rire au cinéma.

Dans Fantomas se déchaîne par exemple, l’ennemi public numéro 1 échappe à Fandor (Jean Marais) et au commissaire Juve ((Louis de Funès) en s’envolant dans une DS qui s’élève dans les airs après s’être transformée en avion à réaction. Magnifique hommage à l’aspect futuriste de la voiture. Dans Les aventures de Rabbi Jacob (toujours avec Louis de Funès), la DS joue la voiture bateau. Dans Le Grand restaurant (encore avec Louis de Funès), la DS donne la réplique à l’acteur comique pour réaliser de jolis gags.

Mais dans le registre humoristique, une des plus belles prouesses de la DS reste à mon sens une plaisanterie réussie avec la complicité d'une femme pilote - dont je ne cite pas le nom par discrétion - lors des reconnaissances d’un grand rallye. Les victimes en furent les représentants de la maréchaussée. A cette époque, au cœur des sixties, les cinémomètres n’existaient pas encore. Mais la vitesse était tout de même limitée en agglomération (60 km/h). Il arrivait parfois que les représentants de l’ordre effectuent des contrôles au moyen d’un dispositif assez simple. Ils plaçaient à un intervalle déterminé deux fils ressemblant aux fils aujourd’hui utilisés pour le comptage des véhicules. La voiture déclenchait le chronomètre en passant sur le premier puis sur le deuxième. Le temps passé pour parcourir la distance entre les deux fils permettait de déterminer sa vitesse. Mais lors des reconnaissances d’un rallye, une pilote Citroën pila sur le premier fil pour le faire sauter, puis récidiva sur le second qui subit le même sort sous les roues presque bloquées de la DS 21. La championne fut arrêtée par des gendarmes dépités de voir leur matériel de contrôle détruit. La rallywoman qui ne manquait ni de présence d’esprit ni d’assurance leur déclara qu’elle avait cru voir des serpents sur la route et que c’était pour cette raison qu’elle avait pilé. Que pouvaient faire les gendarmes, sinon la laisser repartir ? La DS 21 redémarra en trombe à l’attaque du parcours de la spéciale.

Un docu-fiction dans les souvenirs épiques de Philippe Georjan (14 ans en 1966)

Les plus fidèles visiteurs de Circuit Mortel connaissent déjà Philippe Georjan qui est apparu à plusieurs reprises sur le blog Circuit Mortel (notamment récemment dans Le clin d’œil de Philippe Georjan à la R8 Gorde). Bientôt, je ferai partager aux lecteurs de mes romans et nouvelles la vie de Philippe et de ses proches. Mais en attendant, voici les commentaires qu’il m’a livrés sur le retour de le DS Citroën. Car qui mieux que lui pouvait parler de la DS, un mythe automobile dont le sigle sera repris dès 2010 sur des modèles de la marque aus chevrons ?

Pour profiter pleinement de la DS, imaginez-vous au cœur des années 60, recréez dans votre esprit l’insouciance de ces années merveilleuses, écoutez des tubes de Johnny Hallyday, Sylvie Vartan, France Gall, Serge Gainsbourg, Dalida, Michel Sardou et des autres stars qui firent les sixties.

Vous êtes au volant d’une DS 21 d’époque. Devant vous, le petit levier d’une boite auto qui se manie presque comme la commande au volant d’une transmission de F1 futuriste. La sonnerie du portable ne vous dérangera pas. Personne n’a encore inventé ce matériel. Pas de radar à l’horizon, pas de limitations de vitesses. Rien que du plaisir. Le bonheur des années qui deviendront Vintage. Vous avez tourné le bouton du volume de l’autoradio à fond vers la droite. Vous chantez à tue-tête avec Johnny.

Ça y est, vous êtes dans l’ambiance ?Oui ? Alors Philippe peut vous raconter la DS, ou plus exactement sa vision de la DS !

« Les plus jeunes ne se souviennent sans doute pas beaucoup de la DS, raconte Philippe Georjan. Mais la DS représenta une voiture à part durant les sixties et les seventies, ainsi qu’a fortiori à sa sortie en 1955. Regardez son look futuriste et comparez le aux autres grosses voitures de l’époque, les Peugeot 403, les Renault Frégate, les Simca Versailles et Chambord. Même quelques années plus tard, les lignes de la DS paraissaient plus fluides et plus modernes que celles de ses principales rivales telles que la Peugeot 404, la Renault 16, la Fiat 125, la Ford 20 M ou l’Opel Rekord. Et lorsque sa production cessa en 1975, la DS ne paraissait pas dépassée face à la Peugeot 504 ni à la Renault 30 qui débarquait dans les concessions de la marque au losange.

J’ai souvent roulé en DS quand j’étais gamin et adolescent car le père de mon cousin Laurent – c'est-à-dire mon oncle - était un ciroëniste convaincu. Il posséda successivement toute la gamme des DS. Je me souviens particulièrement de ses DS 21 et DS 23 qui étaient très belles et permettaient de rouler plus vite que la moyenne sur les routes.

Unanimement reconnue comme une grande routière, la DS connut aussi une jolie carrière en compétition. Sur le goudron, elle ne faisait pas le poids face à des berlines sportives telles que la Cortina Lotus, la BMW 1600 TI, la R8 Gordini, la NSU TT ou la Cooper S. Par contre, elle tirait remarquablement son épingle du jeu sur la terre et sur la neige. En 1965 et 1966, Laurent et moi débattions souvent avec acharnement des mérites respectifs des Cooper S et des DS 21. Je me souviens particulièrement du Monte-Carlo 1966. J’espérais une victoire Cooper. Laurent pariait sur un triomphe des DS. Nous suivîmes la course avec passion, écoutant les reportages de Radio Monte Carlo, même la nuit en cachette de nos parents dans la demeure familiale. Tous les matins, nous lisions la rubrique Sports de Ouest-France avant de partir au collège. Au début, tout se passa au mieux dans le sens de mes convictions et je ne manquais pas de charrier Laurent. Les Cooper S dominaient la course. Timo Mäkinen – déjà vainqueur en 1965 - devançant Aaltonen et Hopkirk. J’exultais. Je voulais faire de la compétition plus tard. Je m’imaginais débutant sur une Cooper S sans réaliser encore que l’évolution de la production et des homologations me conduirait fatalement à choisir un autre modèle. Il était déjà convenu que mon cousin me naviguerait en rallye. Mais si Laurent se voyait très bien dans le rôle de navigateur sur Cooper S, il voulait voir les DS gagner tant que nous ne courions pas.

« Laurent ne tarda pas à obtenir sa revanche. Les trois Cooper S furent déclassées pour utilisation de phares non conformes à la réglementation routière française. La Ford Cortina Lotus de Roger Clark, quatrième à l’arrivée sur le port de Monaco, subit le même sort. De telle sorte qu’à l’issue des sanctions administratives, le gagnant était … la DS 21 de Pauli Toivonen initialement classé cinquième. Bob Neyret, quatrième, Guy Verrier, septième, et Claude Laurent, neuvième, complétaient la performance d’ensemble des DS 21. L’édition du Monte-Carlo 1966 se termina dans le tumulte et la confusion. Les pilotes britanniques refusèrent de se rendre au dîner officiel de clôture de l’épreuve. BMC et les autres concurrents anglais menacèrent de boycotter la course en 1967 de telle sorte que certains journalistes se demandèrent s’ils n’assistaient pas à la fin du Rallye de Monte-Carlo.

« A la maison, le débat se termina en match de catch entre Laurent et moi. C’était l’époque où le truculent Roger Couderc animait les fins de soirées du samedi soir en commentant les matchs du Petit Prince, de l’Ange blanc, du Bourreau de Béthune, de Duranton (assisté de son valet) et des autres stars du sport spectacle très manichéen qu’était le catch français à l’époque. Mon cousin et moi étions à peu près de même force et possédions le même niveau de judo. Ce soir-là, le combat s’arrêta avant son terme lorsque nos mères commencèrent à s’énerver parce que nous ne descendions pas dîner. Je ne m’en plaignis pas. Laurent avait réussi une prise dont je ne n’arrivais pas à me sortir et je n’étais pas loin de m’avouer vaincu. En outre, nous étions déjà des gourmets éduqués dans la bonne et saine tradition de la gastronomie. C’eût été une faute de goût, un crime de lèse - savoir-vivre que de faire attendre plus longtemps le velouté de moules, le bœuf aux carottes et la salade d’ananas frais au kirch préparés par Titine, l’employée de maison de la famille. Notre brave Titine conduisait à peu près aussi mal que la sœur de Fernand Raynaud dans ses sketchs. Sa Daf automatique pardonnait heureusement toutes les erreurs et ne lui permettait pas de jouer les Pat Moss au volant. Mais si l’art de la conduite lui restait étranger, Titine cuisinait comme un chef distingué par le prestigieux Guide Michelin. Une DS, eeuuuuhhhhh… pardon, une déesse des fourneaux. Quelques années plus tard, avant de partir disputer notre premier rallye avec une R 12 Gordini, Laurent et moi répondrions à ses conseils de prudence – conseils que nous n’avions pas l’intention de suivre, naturellement – en la félicitant pour les arômes magiques de ses chefs d’œuvres culinaires qui dopaient nos sens et notre forme sans faire craindre les foudres d’un contrôle anti-dopage.

« Le lecteur l’aura compris, ce ne serait ni en Cooper S ni en DS 21 que nous ferions nos armes en rallye. Mais en 1966, nous nous passionnions à l’extrême pour les mérites comparés de ces remarquables voitures. Contrairement à la soupe, la vengeance est un plat qui se mange froid. J’aurais la mienne au Monte-Carlo suivant, en 1967, lorsqu’Aaltonen s’imposerait sans qu’un déclassement au profit des DS vienne cette fois le priver de la victoire.

La DS 21 a également brillé au Marathon Londres Sydney de 1968.

Si les DS 19, 21 et 23 participèrent à des compétitions, elles furent aussi les voitures de tourisme favorites de nombreux pilotes. Deux raisons principales à cela. D’une part, elles offraient un confort remarquable, tout au moins aux places avant. Derrière, les passagers avaient parfois mal au cœur car la tendance naturelle de la voiture à monter et à descendre comme sur des vagues océaniques un jour de tempête donnait le mal de mer. D’autre part, c’était la meilleure voiture tractrice du marché grâce à sa fameuse suspension hydro. Quantité de monoplaces, prototypes, GT ou voitures dites de tourisme de série voyagèrent sur plateau de circuits en rallyes et en courses de côtes derrière une DS !

« Je me rappelle à ce sujet une anecdote rapportée pat les frères Tourquen en 1973. L’un, Jean-Jacques, pilotait une Alpine groupe 4 en rallye et en course de côte. L’autre, Serge, le naviguait en rallye et l’accompagnait sur toutes les courses de côtes. Ils tractaient l’Alpine avec une DS 23 injection électronique de couleur bordeaux métallisé. Un dimanche soir, en rentrant d’une course de côte, ils se sont fait radariser à 135 à l’entrée d’une agglomération. C’était la tombée de la nuit. Le flic planqué dans son Estafette Magasins bleus dans une entrée de maison a juste vu une DS couleur sombre. A la récupération, les frères Tourquen ont joué les victimes indignées d’une erreur judiciaire. « Quoi ? A 135 pour 60, mais vous n’y pensez pas. Avec le plateau derrière, on ne peut pas dépasser le 80, mon bon monsieur… Mais maintenant que vous le dites, on s’est fait doubler par une autre DS, sans plateau celle-là, qui a pilé devant nous pour tourner dans une petite rue. C’est celui-là que vous avez dû prendre. Il envoyait le gars, et à la façon dont il s’est barré dans la ruelle, il ne devait se sentir tranquille. C’est peut-être une voiture volée ». Naturellement, il n’y avait pas d’autre DS. La berline Citroën était bien capable de rouler à 135 et même plus avec une Alpine sur plateau en remorque. Les frères Tourquen s’en sont tirés au bénéfice du doute et parce que les gendarmes ne croyaient pas possible qu’une DS avec plateau ait pu rouler à cette vitesse-là.

« La nouvelle génération de DS qui va sortir en 2010 ne vivra pas les mêmes aventures, c’est certain. Mais elle correspond à un sympathique retour de la mode des années 50, 60 et 70. Le monde du spectacle exploite cette tendance liée à la nostalgie d’années de tourbillons et d’insouciance. Le 50^ème anniversaire de Salut les Copains est dignement célébré. Jean-Marie Périer, Jean-Jacques Debout et d’autres témoins de cette belle époque sont régulièrement invités sur les plateaux de télévision pour raconter leurs souvenirs. Les tournées Âge tendre et têtes de bois apportent une superbe illustration du retour en force de l’esprit Vintage, tout comme l’arrivée massive chez les diffuseurs de presse des DVD des séries télévisées des sixties. Même Zorro s’accapare un créneau de prime time le dimanche soir sur une grande chaîne de télévision. VW avec un modèle inspiré de la Coccinelle, BMW avec la nouvelle Mini Cooper, Fiat avec la nouvelle 500 qui fait chavirer les cœurs ont su surfer sur cette vague. Citroën a certainement raison de rappeler une belle page de son histoire en réveillant le sigle DS. Une franche déception toutefois. Les futures DS ne seront que des versions haut de gamme des modèles Citroën. Nous aurions tant aimé une vraie DS à la fois Vintage et moderne ! Sébastien Loeb a beaucoup apporté à l’image de Citroën. Il a aidé la marque aux chevrons à rajeunir sa clientèle. Souhaitons qu’une note de fantaisie et de rétro alliée aux succès sportifs de notre Seb national contribuent à tirer Citroën vers le haut, d’autant qu’en cette période de crise économique, toute bonne nouvelle pour la santé d’une entreprise est aussi synonyme d’espoirs au niveau de l’emploi.

"Aujourd’hui, petit test d’un vieux jeu sur DS, puisqu’il est sorti chez nous le 18 avril 2008. Il est développé par Jupiter (Spectrobes) et édité par Square enix.

Ce jeu raconte l’histoire de Neku un adolescent antisocial qui se réveille dans les rues de Shibuya. Le seul petit problème c’est que personne ne le vois ni ne l’entends, et il se rends compte qu’il porte un badge d’une forme bizarre. Voila le départ de ce jeu, Neku se rendra vite compte qu’il fait parti d’un jeu et qu’il devrait s’associer à quelqu’un pour vaincre les « Noise ». Voila donc notre jeune héros embarqué dans une course pour sa survie : Pendant 1 semaine, il va devoir survivre à des énigmes et les résoudre pour éviter sa destruction. ..."

Ce jeu, édité par Atlus, est un « strategy-shooter role-playing game » hybride, il combine donc ces deux styles. En premier lieu parce que le terrain se décompose en cases, dans un second temps parce que le but du jeu est de détruire tous les monstres à l’écran. Classique ? Pas vraiment.

Ce jeu possède une véritable histoire : vous incarnez un feu follet, libéré par une « armored maiden », et vous allez entreprendre une quête pour retrouver la mémoire, mais pas seulement..."

[Avis aux âmes généreuses hihi]

J’ai envie de détente, de me poser au soleil, dans le joli parc à coté de chez moi, et de profiter de ma Nintendo DS [non je ne suis pas passée à la DSi]. Et pour ça j’ai envie d’un jeu intéressant qui fasse réfléchir, mais pas non plus de quoi me filer des céphalées !
Bref j’ai trouvé mon bonheur [mais je ne l’ai pas encore acheté >.<] :

Les chevaliers de Baphomet : The director’s cut
Je me souviens que j’avais le premier « opus » de la série, au temps de la PlayStation 1 (oula ça remonte, ça ne nous rajeunit pas...). J’avais adoré, même si franchement il m’avait pris la tête (oui oui je n’ai pas honte de le dire je l’avais trouvé dur) mais bon j’étais jeune :p (on se rassure comme on peut).
Petit rappel du scénario :
« Alors qu'il se trouve en vacances à Paris, George Stobbart, sympathique touriste américain, est témoin d'un attentat commis dans un café par un homme déguisé en clown. Poussé par sa curiosité et son désir de connaître les raisons de cet attentat, George se retrouve embarqué dans une aventure teintée de mystères et de conspiration… Il est épaulé par Nicole Collard, alias Nico, une journaliste française qui a décidé d'enquêter sur les évènements étranges qui se sont déroulés à Paris. De fil en aiguille, George et Nico parcourront le monde pour tenter de résoudre cette énigme qui a un rapport avec l'Ordre des Templiers. »
[Ca pour parcourir le monde… Je crois que ce jeu m’a dégouté de l’Irlande tellement j’en avais ch*er pour résoudre l’énigme -_-‘]
Il était très bien ficelé, et le graphisme style cartoon n’était pas pour me déplaire.
Enfin bref j’avais trouvé ce jeu passionnant (surtout que l’énigme tourne autour de l’ordre des templiers, sympa !), et savoir qu’il y a une version DS eh bah ça me tente bien !! Même beaucoup :D
J’espère ne pas être déçue et que le jeu n'a en rien perdu de son charme, son humour, sa qualité graphique et scénaristique.

Mon deuxième coup de cœur est un jeu sur WII : Mon coach personnel, forme et fitness !

Je crois qu’il n’y a rien à ajouter tout est dans le titre. Mais ce qui fait plaisir c’est qu’il a un prix riquiqui (enfin faut relativiser par rapport aux autres jeux hein) : 30 euros si je ne me trompe pas …
J’en entends beaucoup de bien ! ET ce qui est appréciable c’est qu’avec ce jeu on a un véritable programme personnalisé ! Bref à voir…

En tant que geekette amatrice de base, je ne pouvais pas ne pas livrer pour vous une petite sélection des jeux auxquels je joue régulièrement sur ma chère et bien aimée DS. Avant que ne sorte la vilaine Dsi qui elle, sera zonée, profitons de pouvoir jouer à tous les jeux que nous offrent les différents pays. Cette liste est non exhaustive et complètement subjective, je n'y annonce pas les fraiches nouveauté mais au contraire des jeux qui ont fait leurs preuves entre mes petites mains et qui pour moi sont presque des classiques de la DS. Et n'étant pas journaliste de jeux, elle n'a pas la prétention de concurrencer nos chers gamekult ou autre jeux vidéo.com

Tout d'abord, un petit classique mais mon préféré car à mon sens le bijoux de cette nouvelle console:

ZELDA Phantom Hourglass : L'incontournable référence de Nintendo, celle dont on se rappelle avec émotion les design tous moches de la super Nes, revient pour notre plus grand plaisir sur la Dual Scren. Tout d'abord les graphismes sont magnifiques, le jeu est très facile à manier et les effets « fausse 3D » sont bien rendus. La quête que nous découvrons est cette fois-ci inédite, et le stylet est extrêmement bien utilisé. Quel plaisir en effet de partir avec Link explorer la carte marine à bord de son petit bateau et de pouvoir changer tous les points de vue pour avoir ainsi une vision d'ensemble de la mer. Une fois que l'on accoste une île ou un nouveau donjon, on a la possibilité d'écrire sur la carte pour se repérer et se souvenir des énigmes à déjouer pour la fois suivante. (et oui quand on a plus 15 ans, il devient utile de prendre des notes.)

Le petit plus: Les mini-jeux, toujours présents, sont dispatchés sur des îles que l'on découvre au fur à mesure de nos aventures. Je trouve ça assez agréable entre deux missions où quand on galère depuis trois heures sur le même donjon d'aller se promener sur l'île Molida pour tirer à l'arc ou bien d'essayer de déjouer un labyrinthe pervers dans une île au Nord-Est de notre carte.

Le petit moins: Toutes les missions nous amènent systématiquement dans le même temple où la difficulté gravit en exponentielle, c'est un peu lassant et quelquefois décourageant. Et petit détail qui je pense ne gène que moi, on ne peut amasser plus de 9999 de la monnaie locale. Et ça, pour une radine comme moi, c'est dur à accepter.

Hotel Dusk Room 215 : Grande particularité de la DS, ce jeu a été vendu comme étant le « premier roman interactif. » Il est vrai qu'à certains moments, le jeu n'est pas sans nous rappeler les « histoires donc vous êtes les héros » de notre enfance. Dans ce jeu qui est à mon sens le premier jeu vidéo psychologique, vous incarnez Kyle Hyde, ancien flic à la recherche de son ami Bradley. Vous devrez résoudre les mystères qui entourent l'hôtel mais également ceux plus personnels de Hyde en interrogeant subtilement les clients parfois étranges de l'hôtel,pas trop agressivement pour ne pas les braquer mais pas trop doucement non plus pour éviter qu'ils ne vous cachent des infos essentielles.

Les graphismes sont très bien fait, avec un crayonné qui évoque un manga dans le pur style polar noir. Toute l'ambiance d'ailleurs nous permet de nous immerger dans le côté glauque du flic blessé qui poursuit son but de manière obsessionnelle. Le visuel des personnages est attachant (Hyde est super charmant, ce qui ne gâche rien au jeu ! ) Le scénar est bien ficelé et suffisamment compliqué pour qu'on s'y perde de temps en temps, bref, un jeu à découvrir.

Le petit plus: Assez rare pour qu'on mérite de le souligner, un soin particulier a été apporté à certaines des ambiances musicales (pas toutes certes, je le reconnais) dont une musique assez mélancolique et particulièrement travaillée qui nous parvient dès que l'on rencontre le personnage énigmatique de Mila (je n'en dis pas plus pour éviter de spoiler bien sûr). Il existe même un lieu de l'hôtel où se cache un juke-box qui nous permet de choisir notre musique préférée.

Le petit moins: Certaines énigmes sont vraiment tordues, et à moins d'avoir les soluces sur les genoux, difficile d'y répondre. Et comme toujours dans ce type de jeu, quand on a pas résolu l'énigme où il faut aller au fond de la réserve prendre le petit bout de métal qu'on avait pas vu pour le tordre d'une certaine manière pour en faire une clef pour ouvrir une valise au fond d'un puits introuvable (moi, j'exagère ??? nooon) toutes les portes nous restent fermées et on peut tourner en rond pendant des heures. Bref, malgré le fait que les critiques estiment le jeu trop facile, je trouve moi que certaines énigmes sont vicieuses et n'ai eu aucun complexe à m'aider des soluces. Mais c'est peut-être parce que je suis une éternelle flemmarde.

Pour le dernier jeu, j'ai pas mal hésité entre présenter ce grand classique qu'est devenu Trauma center, et puis finalement je me suis décidée à vous faire découvrir un petit jeu absurde du nom de

SPORE créatures: Le maître mot de ce jeu de gestion est: originalité. Le but est de développer une bestiole et de la faire évoluer dans un monde de plusieurs planètes. Il faut bien entendu nourrir l'animal, choisir les parties de son corps les plus efficaces pour défoncer les adversaires, mais aussi parfois faire patte blanche pour caresser et danser avec nos amis. Les décors sont sympathiques, et l'on peut donner à notre créature l'apparence et la couleur que l'on veut. Ce jeu pour moi sans prétention reste assez bien foutu et permet de ne pas tomber dans les clichés des pokemons et autres sims.

Le petit plus : Notre animal est transformable à l'infini, et chaque partie du corps va avoir une importance (telle bouche va cracher du feu, telle patte nous permettra de marcher sur du sable mais pas dans l'eau etc.)

Le petit moins: Il se trouve à mon sens précisément dans l'interface de transformation qui nous permet de « tuner » notre animal qui n'est pas toujours très claire. Comme il n'existe aucun support permanent, pas même le corps de l'animal que l'on peut changer à souhait, il peut devenir parfois difficile de se repérer.

DS renaît dans une nouvelle formule plus classe et riche en brèves.

Ma déesse adore.

Moi je trouve qu'il manque quelques nanas dénudées un peu de photos lèchées...

Mais à l'arrivée, on se laisse prendre à la lecture plus longtemps qu'un mensuel féminin classique.

Gentil Médecin m'a arrêtée pour 3 semaines.

Du coup, j'ai prévenu secrétaire, rempli conscienceusement les tableaux de présence, et dit que je reprenais le taf 2 jours plus tôt que prévu. Elle m'a dit que j'étais une cadre formidable.

J'ai accepté un entretien d'"embauche" avec next-to-bercy et Tac. Et je fais une télé-conf avec next-to-boche-land et Tic dans la semaine. Tic et Tac sont les plus heureux du monde.

J'ai prévenu mon chef qui doit être apparemment au fin fond du monde à relaxer ses petits petons et donc qui s'en fout complet. Donc heu-reux.

La vie est formidable.

Bon, je cumule une bronchite. Il est aussi formellement dorénavant prouvé que passer le fil dentaire est impossible à une main.

Je ne peux pas attacher mes cheveux, mettre un soutif ou enlever un pull, éplucher un kiwi ...

Mais je suis passée niveau 4/5 à questions pour un champion sur DS, j'ai fait à peu près 452 parties de Scrabble et je joue même aux Sims, je touche le fond.

Manquerait plus que j'apprenne les règles de la coinche et je serais au bord de l'ennui total ;-)

Qu'est-ce qu'on mange ?

Autant monsieur Lolo a toujours de bonnes idées en cuisine autant moi...je préfère rester dans les sentiers connus (quiche, gratin, blanquette,etc). C'est pas faute d'avoir plusieurs livres de cuisine (un gros pavé et quelques fascicules thématique genre sushi, poisson gateaux chocolat). Alors quand monsieur Lolo m'a parlé de Cooking mama, j'ai trouvé ça drôle comme principe de jeu. Mais pas au point de payer 40 € pour une cartouche.

Donc quand je l'ai trouvé à 20€, j'en ai profité. Et grand bien m'en a pris !

C'est fun, c'est rapide, précis et décidement bien fun !

On commence par de l'entrainement sur des plats simples type pâtes, puis on peut amélirorer pâtes à la bolognaise, aux scampi, etc. Au bout d'un temps on débloque de nouvelles recettes. J'avoue avoir eu le coup de coeur pour le bol de nouilles instantanées ^.^

Je ne sais pas si les recettes proposées sont réalisables (fondamentalement elles le sont) car la cuisine est vu à travers le jeu de rapidité et de réflexe, donc : "situation à ne pas reproduire à la maison"

Si vous le trouvez, n'hésitez pas à investir !

Acheter une DS,
Jouer à Animal crossing

Depuis une semaine que j'ai commencé à jouer à ce jeu, j'en suis devenue complètement accro. Une vrai drogue. Alors Animal crossing c'est quoi ? Un jeu de simulation de vie trop mimi avec ses couleurs vives. Ce qui est génial c'est que vous jouez en temps réel donc quand il fait nuit chez vous dans le jeu c'est pareil.

Au départ, je ne trouvais pas ça super super. J'avais créé mon petit perso, ma ville etc. Mais, je ne voyais pas trop l'intérêt : pas de mission, ni de but réel. Moi qui ai beaucoup joué aux Sims, je trouvais Animal Crossing limite chiant. Cependant en lisant les forums du jeu, j'ai découvert qu'on pouvait jouer en ligne avec des gens du monde entier. Et là c'est le drame. Tu peux aller chez eux, eux chez toi, tchater... Et c'est pas possible le temps que ça te bouffe !

Non franchement, ce jeu c'est le mal tout comme Tétris. Vous avez jamais rêver que vous empiliez des blocs les uns sur les autres. ça vous rends addict.

Allez, je vous laisse faut quand même que je range la maison parce que c'est pas le tout de jouer.

Nintendo DS roms

Bon je sais le titre est un peu cryptique pour les non initiés. Nintendo DS, c’est le nom d’une console de jeu éditée par Nintendo, elle est super pratique car on peut la plier et l’emmener partout.
ROMS là ça se complique un peu. En fait, les ROMS sont des types de mémoires. Le nom a été repris car les jeux sont stockés en mémoire ROM dans la DS.
Les jeux sont absolument bluffants et non rien à voir avec les casse briques de notre enfance. Y’a de la couleur partout, des musiques sympas et un petit stylet car l’écran du bas est tactile. En plus, la gamme de jeux est vraiment très large, des recettes de cuisine aux jeux de rôle.
Je vous rassure, je ne suis pas fan de jeux par contre mon fils adore sa DS et me réclame régulièrement des nouveaux jeux… A 40€ le jeu, je peux quand même pas en acheter tous les jours… Heureusement, la solution miracle existe, il suffit d’acheter ce qu’on appele un linker. Le linker a exactement la taille d’un jeu (une petite plaque de plastique qu’on enfiche dans la DS), la différence est que le linker a une petite encoche qui accepte une micro SD (carte mémoire qu’on retrouve dans les appareils photos par exemple).
Cette micro SD fait toute la différence, effectivement la micro SD peut être branchée sur votre Mac ou PC pour y stocker des jeux qu’on peut télécharger sur internet.
La semaine dernière j’ai donc craqué pour Smartcard DSone et j’ai téléchargé quelques jeux que me réclamait mon fils. Il existe pas mal de modèles (R4 evolution, M3 real, DSTT, N5) tous à peu près équivalent, ensuite c'est plus une question de gout.
Donc si vos enfants vous ruinent en jeux, le linker est peut être la solution pour éviter que votre budget vacances partent en jeux DS.

Mario Kart !

Se jeux est disponible sur Wii ou Ds !

Se jeux consiste a gagner des coupes mais pour cela il faut remporté des course !

Se jeux est très amusant tout seule ou entre amis !

J'ai tester Mario Kart sur wii et ds !

L'avantage sur la wii c'est que il y a un volant qu'on peut acheter mais les circuits sont différents sur ds et wii !

Jeux que je conseille, ah et j'allais oublier, ce jeux est disponible sur Gamecube, je ne sait pas très bien comment sa s'écrit.

Peut-être qu’il prenait le bus, mais jamais les lignes 38-27-21 et 85. Ou peut-être qu’il ne circulait qu’en DS. En Citroën DS, pas en Nintendo DS. Voici le nouveau jeu de puzzle qui vous fera passer des nuits blanches (malheureusement vécu...heureusement en vacances...) : Puzzle quest !

Prenez un bon RPG bien long genre Might and Magic, prenez un Puzzle secouez bien fort et admirez le résultat !

Un RPG digne de ce nom avec des quêtes en veux-tu en voilà, des nains relous et des sorciers complétement frapadingues, une armée de vilains redoutables (je t'aurai Dugog ! foi de Lili !). Jusque là c'est du RPG classique. Que viennent faire les puzzle la dedans me demanderez-vous ? A taper sur les vilains pas beaux ! Point de coup d'épées avec giclure de sang et explosion de cervelle. Pour mettre un coup à l'ennemi il va falloir réfléchir à des alignements de couleur de façon à faire un max de point pour lui exploser la tronche. Seul soucis : lui aussi rêve de vous occir !

Et pour satisfaire tout le monde il est dipo sur toutes les consoles (DS, PSP, PS3, Wii, etc).

Comment je suis devenue casanière ...

Avant de l'avoir rencontré et de partager sa vie, j'étais loin d'être casanière. Je détestais être seule. C'est pourquoi je vivais en colocation. Mais j'avais sans arrêt besoin de faire quelque chose le week-end. J'organisais des sorties afin d'être sûr de ne pas me retrouver seule chez moi. A cet époque, pour moi, le week-end était l'occasion de voir un max de monde, faire un max de choses et être un maximum loin de mon chez moi !

Et puis je l'ai rencontré et nous avons emménagé ensemble. Lui était un grand casanier, un sauvage, un vrai ! c'est d'ailleurs ce côté sauvageon qui m'a en partie fait craquer ! Un vrai mystère. Il aime voir ses amis mais il a besoin d'avoir sont temps à lui, dans son monde, dans sa bulle. En fait, il s'est créé un équilibre entre ce besoin de solitude et le monde extérieur !

Alors vous imaginez bien que nos débuts de vie commune furent explosifs !!

Un solitaire vivant dans sa bulle avec une hyper-active !!

Lui, son quotidien après son boulot, c'est rentrer dans sa bulle. Quelle bulle ? Une bulle complètement coupée du monde, dans laquelle tu ne penses qu'à toi, ton bien-être et tes envies.

Moi, mon quotidien, avoir la langue bien pendue, quand je le vois, j'ai des milliards de choses à lui dire, à lui montrer !

Et puis le temps à passer, nous nous sommes apprivoisés et avec lui j'ai appris ce que c'était de se poser et de se laisser vivre en ne pensant qu'à nous !

Dans ce mode de vie, les jeux vidéos ont leur place. Alors je vous avoue que je me suis longtemps plainte, j'ai entamé de nombreuses négociations. Et puis un jour j'ai voulu rentrer dans sa bulle et découvrir cet univers malgré mes réticences.

Tout a commencé avec la PS2 et le jeu de la série 24h avec Jack Bauer ! Et là, je suis devenue complètement accro, capable de jouer des heures, réfugiée dans cette bulle avec mon homme, nos clopes, pas de téléphone et de quoi s'hydrater ! Un pur bonheur ! Ne pensez qu'à nous ! J'ai découvert l'égoïsme ! Et ce n'est pas totalement désagréable ... je dirai même que ça a du bon ...

Mon initiation aux jeux vidéos à continuer avec les sims, un jeu de snow, deux nouvelles consoles, une Xbox et une DS, de nouveaux jeux, un super mario, viva pinata, Hotel Dusk, le Dr kawashima ... Ah oui et ya Sing star aussi, le jeu de karaoké sur PS2 !

En deux coups de cuillères à peau me voila casanière ! mon thé, mes clopes, de bons petits plats, un saucisson qui tue, un bon blanc et hop le week-end peut commencer !

Pourquoi je vous parle de ça ? et bien ce fut le programme de notre week-end ! et j'ai craqué pour deux nouveaux jeux pour ma petite DS : Mario Kart et Trauma Center !

Pour les intéressés, Mario Kart est une vraie tuerie, on peut aussi jouer en réseau grâce au wifi et ça c'est terrible !Quand à Trauma Center, c'est un jeu où l'on est chirurgien ! En gros tu te crois dans Grey's Anatomy ou Urgences, tu soignes des tumeurs et autres ! Il est génial !!

Comme lui m'a transmis son casanièrisme, je lui ai transmis ma bougeotte, et aujourd'hui notre quotidien est un équilibre entre les deux !

Voilà... La veille des écrits du CAPES, je me suis achetée une Nintendo DS.

Tu sais, la nouvelle Game Boy quoi... Le truc avec le Dr Kawashima et Mario et tout ça... Sorte de récompense de mon dur labeur.

Ouais...

Bah, c'est pas une réussite! J'y passe un temps fou!

Au magasin, ils ont voulu me vendre la pochette Nintendo pour la ranger tout ça. Moi je me suis dit que je trouverais bien un petit sac ou quelque chose où la mettre... Du coup, histoire de la "protéger" des chocs, je lui tricote une pochette...

Ouais, je t'avais dit que c'était pas une réussite!

Le problème, c'est que j'ai eu la bonne idée de me renseigner un peu avant. J'ai remarqué qu'on pouvait acheter un "linker" qui te permet, de manière tout aussi légale que quand tu télécharges de la musique que t'as pas payée, de charger plein de jeux à la fois sur la même disquette/cartouche/truc-que-tu-enfiles-au-dos-de-la-console-pour-avoir-un-jeu quoi.

Et donc, depuis trois jours, j'ai reçu le fameux linker.

Je suis passée de Zelda uniquement (le seul que j'avais acheté) à 8 jeux dont le nouveau Super Mario, le nouveau Tetris (bien amélioré, si si), le Dr Machin (50ans mon cerveau, le lendemain 52, le surlendemain 55.... mouais... peut-être une preuve que ça lui réussit pas la Game Boy, à mon cerveau...) et plein d'autres trucs...

Dire que c'est sensé aider à passer le temps. En fait, ça me le bouffe encore plus vite!

Difficile de bosser pour l'agreg dans ces conditions...

Il faut que je vous avoue quelque chose...

Adolescente, j'avais la grosse tête, pas au sens physique du terme, quoique ma tête à toujours eu du mal à passer ~~les portes~~ dans le trou prévu à cet effet sur les pulls.

En classe de 1ère, je me suis retrouvée 1ère de ma classe, comment je n'en sais rien... sûrement que les autres n'étaient pas très doués. N'empêche que ça motive bien d'être la petite chouchoute des profs et je me voyais déjà en ~~haut de l'affiche~~ cadre supérieur, donnant des ordres à mes employés et travaillant dans une grande tour à New York... Bon dans tout ça, il n'y a que l'objectif "travailler dans une tour" qui est atteint, sauf que pour le moment je suis au 1er étage, mais d'ici 2 ans, je risque d'être au 15ème étage(enfin si j'y suis toujours).

Mes profs nourrissaient de grands espoirs en moi, mes parents et ma grand mère aussi d'ailleurs... Ils ont même été déçus que je ramène une mention assez bien au BAC alors qu'au Bac blanc j'avais eu bien et moi j'étais surtout déçue qu'on ne me félicite pas de l'avoir au moins eu...

Bref, j'étais destinée à de longues études... mais la vie est pleine de surprises et comme Laure Manaudou, L'amour m' a fait tourner la tête. Mon DUT en poche (6ème /100 : ma fierté), j'ai donc jugé le moment opportun pour stopper mes études et entrer dans le joyeux monde du travail.

Malheureusement avec un Bac+2, tu te retrouves presque en bas de l'échelle... et là, ma grosse tête a pris un bon coup de massue. Bizarrement j'ai enfin pu passer les portes.

Les années passant et le grade n' augmentant pas, ni le salaire d' ailleurs, j'ai eu une grosse crise de doutes. Voyant tous mes amis ayant poussés les études jusqu'à BAC +5 s'en sortir avec de meilleurs postes et salaires que moi, amis pourtant pas forcément meilleurs aux examens, j' ai commencé à me poser beaucoup de questions. Finalement je n'étais peut-être qu'une blonde écervellée et peut-être les profs m'avaient ils fait miroiter de faux espoirs...

Bref j'ai fini par me croire idiote.

Heureusement, à Noël, ma DS m'a sauvé!

Je me suis aussitôt mise à l'entrainement cérébral pensant voir un "Votre cerveau à 80 ans", comme Nicole Kidman à sa première évaluation... L'honneur était à peu près sauf avec un petit 54 ans, enfin pas de quoi sauter au plafond...

Mais voilà, en 2 semaines d' entraînement, je n'ose aujourd'hui plus du tout toucher à l' évaluation cérébrale... Pourquoi? Parce qu'à ma dernière évaluation j'ai obtenu le score de 21 ans! Ma tête a regrossi un chouilla avec cela et sincéremment, je n'ai pas envie de voir mon score baisser...

D'ailleurs, à Cerebral Academy sur DS (plus dur que sur la Wii), mon cerveau pèse 1289 grammes soit niveau 12, limite 13 et le docteur machintruc a un cerveau de 1400 grammes... je ne suis donc pas très loin HiHiHi. Enfin là aucun risque de voir mon score disparaître car c'est le meilleur score qui reste affiché.

Bon ceci dit, cela n'a rien changé à mon statut ou à mon salaire... quoique le statut me convient très bien car devenir cadre = responsabilité et réunions chiantes à gogo... mais ça a le mérite de me redonner un peu confiance en moi. Je me sens moins neuneu à côté de mes amis cadres désormais.

P.S: Par contre, mes yeux, malgré leur 10/10, ont un petit soucis... je n'arrive pas à aller en dessous de la barre des 32 ans .... Faut dire qu'en s'évaluant le soir après 1 journée passée derrière un écran, ça n'aide pas...

Comme vous le savez, je suis depuis peu l' heureuse propriétaire d' une Nintendo DS.

Je suis un peu comme une franchisée Nintendo car je n'ai toujours eu que des Nintendos... j'ai même du toutes les avoir! Bizarre non quand on sait que la PlayStation a été Reine pendant quelques années!

En m' apportant la DS, le Père Noël a été plutôt généreux car il l'avait pré-doté de tout pleins de jeux dont tous ceux que je voulais. Mais tout en bas de la liste, il y en avait dont je n'aurai jamais pensé qu'il puisse me passionner autant : Le SCRABBLE !

Pour moi, le scrabble, c'était avant tout le jeu du dimanche après midi, le jeu fétiche de ma grand -mère , auquel nous jouions avec elle, même qu'elle était une pro munie de son dictionnaire spécial Scrabble.

Alors voilà, au début, j'ai fait une partie rapide et j'ai gagné. Comme toujours dans ces situations, quand on gagne, on a envie de gagner encore et encore donc j'ai recommencé et j'ai encore gagné.

Puis j'ai découvert le menu "Carrière", ce menu où tu peux participer à un tournoi de Scrabble contre ta DS. Le tournoi commence dans une petite salle des fêtes locale miteuse où la mission est de battre 3 adversaires. La tâche s'avère assez simple pour moi.

Puis le tournoi devient national et là ça se corse ! Les adversaires sont de plus en plus forts. Même la 1ère a affronté me met une raclée! Chacun de ses coups lui rapporte minimum 20 pts à chaque fois. Elle place des mots totalement inconnus à mon vocabulaire comme Phots, elle connaît tous les mots avec les lettres à 10 points comme LeZ, eWe, sKai... (même le dictionnaire hautetfort ne reconnait pas les mots, comme quoi!)

Bref je commence à perdre patience... je m'énerve... C'est sûr, ma DS triche! c'est pas possible, mon adversaire a toujours de super lettres pour faire de super mots alors que moi, soit je n'ai que des voyelles, soit je n'ai que des consommes! Limite j'en suis à compter le nombre de A, de P,de S pour être sûre que le compte y est.

Par persévérance j'arrive à battre les 2 premières mais la 3ème : Aïe! Il n'y a pas à dire, les éditeurs du jeu ne se sont pas trompés, ils ont choisi des filles pour être les plus douées.

Ma nouvelle adversaire a des lunettes et une grosse bouille d'intello mais elle place des mots tel que niquant ou teube ... jamais je n'aurai imaginer que ces mots figurent dans le dictionnaire du Scrabble! Oh my God! ma grand -mère doit connaître de ces mots ...

A bout de nerf contre ma DS et n'arrivant pas à faire de pause comme je voudrais faire, je finis par tricher, mais juste un chouilla...

J'allume mon Pc, me connecte sur un dictionnaire du scrabble qui me donne les meilleures combinaisons possibles grâce à mes lettres. Et là je jubile! Je bats enfin cette pouf avec 580 points ! HaHaHaHa ! Jamais je n'avais eu un score pareil! Bon allez, promis, les autres j'essaie de les battre à la loyale... enfin jusqu'à ce que je n'en puisse plus à nouveau ;-)
